Hr. Education department bids farewell

Directorate of Higher Education organised a farewell programme for the outgoing director, Dr. I. Anungla  Aier and additional director, Dr. Watijungshi on July 29 at Conference Hall, Directorate of Higher Education, Kohima.

A DIPR report stated that in his address, minister, H & TE, Temjen Imna Along said farewells were not moments of sadness but a true moment of celebrations. 

Along appreciated and acknowledged the contributions of the officers and also lauded their humanity. 

The minister also called upon the officials and staff of the department to take their work seriously and encouraged all to prove themselves through their works and deeds. 

In their speeches, outgoing officers, Dr. I Anungla Aier and Dr. Watijungshi thanked officers and staff for organising the programme. They also encouraged the officers and staff of the department to continue their devotion for the benefits of the students and for the welfare of the state. 

Short speeches were also delivered by joint director, HE, Menuokholie Kire and Mount Tiyi College Wokha, principal Dr. Apeni Lotha.
