ICAR-NRC organises cultural competition

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-National Research Centre (NRC) on Mithun, Medziphema organized  literary and cultural competitions from September 23 to 26.  

A press release from ICAR-NRC Medziphema stated that nine schools participated, where Sainik School Punglwa emerged as the winner. In the painting competition under classes VII-IX category the cadets bagged all the three top positions while in the classes X and above category they bagged the 1st and 2nd positions. 

In essay writing competition, the also school bagged the top positions. In the quiz and debate competitions, the school finished  in 1st and 3rd positions respectively. The awards were given away on October 2 at the prize distribution programme organized by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. 

 Dailee Mao, art master of the school collected the awards on behalf of the cadets. Gp Capt Prasun Basu, principal of the school congratulated the cadets for their commendable performance in the various competitions.
