ICDP training in Tuensang

The first phase ICDP 2018-19 training programme for beneficiary societies was held at CKS Hall Tuensang on July 12. 

The programme was organized by PIT, ICDP Tuensang district.  According to DIPR, in Tuensang, out of total 800 Societies, 57 primary cooperative societies (beneficiaries) received the benefits in the first phase. Assistant registrar of Cooperative Societies and Chief Project Officer (CPO) Tuensang, Akhang Jongshi, highlighted on the basics of book keeping records and loan recovery on time.

Dr. Keviletsu Khate, KVK also disseminated on farming and management of piggery and poultry and maintenance of good breeding systems. 

He highlighted the details on nurturing, safe farming and disease related to piggery and farming while other officials discussed on the production technology on cultivation of field crops. 

After the formal session, the beneficiaries along with the officials conducted field trip at B&N Farm at Yungpang Village.
