IGAR(N) organizes excursion  for students from Manipur

The Inspector General Assam Rifles (IGAR) North organized an excursion for school children from Manipur to Kohima from April 20 to May 23. Students from Lyzon Friendship School, Singngat and Khongjom Standard English School, Manipur are part of the excursion group.

A press release by IGAR(N) stated that the excursion aimed to facilitate learning experience and provide opportunity to explore different environment and engage in meaningful ways with the neighbouring Naga communities. The children were hosted at the residence of Maj Gen Pradeep Nair, IGAR(N) where a cultural cum interaction session was organised. The itinerary includes visit to War Cemetery, Kohima Cathedral, Charlie Hill COB and various orphanages.
