IHRC holds meeting with DGU & GSUD

Newly formed organization “International Human Rights Council (IHRC)” Nagaland chapters state president Akavi N Zhimomi Naga and his colleagues held an introductory meeting with Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU) & Gorkha Student’s Union Dimapur (GSUD) at Gorkha Union office on January 30. 

A press release from the organisers stated that, in the meeting special guest was Kamal Raj, national general secretary of IHRC. DGU chairman welcomed the special guest. Both the Gorkha union and IHRC members highlighted it’s vision and mission on how they can function in serving the society. Kamal Raj assured that IHRC will stand firm in its mission in fighting against human rights violation in every circumstances. He also applauded the enthusiasm of young leaders of IHRC Nagaland chapter led by Zhimomi. Chairman & advisors of DGU with students union decided to work hand in hand with IHRC as both the organizations shared one vision.
