As part of the protest, IMA, an organisation of Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine in India, has called for suspending all non-emergency services, including OPD on Saturday from 6am to 6pm. Indian Medical Association said that while all elective procedures will be deferred, critical services including deliveries, emergencies and in-patient care will be provided. The association has stated that a general body meeting of all local branches would be convened at 9 AM on Saturday to pass a resolution against the NMC Bill.
