IMF youth championship in Dimapur

Three-day days Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) Youth Championship training organised by Nagaland Sport Climbing Association (NSCA) in collaboration with Nagaland Association for Adventure Mountaineering and Education (NAAME) got under way on January 11 at Nagaland Sport Climbing Institute, Dimapur.

The championship is organised by IMF North East Zone under the sponsorship of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, government of India.

The inaugural programme was chaired by NSCA general secretary, Khrieketoulie Kintso while NSCA president, Akito Ayemi delivered the welcome address and invocation by advisor NSCA, Langshukyu Sangtam. Chief instructor, Marnungden Walling will be observing the event along with four instructors. 26 participants have registered for the training.
