Imna Along urges BJP workers to be ‘call centric’

Minister of Higher & Technical Education and Tribal Affairs and Nagaland state BJP president, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer urged the BJP workers in Mokokchung to be “call-centric” and work for the welfare of the people as the Bharatiya Janata Party in India was there to empower the “unempowered” people in the country. 

A press release from BJP Mokokchung district media cell convenor, M. Along Longchar stated that, Along urged upon the BJP Mokokchung district leadership to have a vision and serve the people while addressing at the meeting held on March 12 in Mokokchung.  He mentioned about the different central schemes initiated by prime minister Narendra Modi like Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna for benefitting the people in the villages and rural areas. 

Sharing his dream of a different Nagaland that was beautiful, prosperous and empowered, Imna Along challenged the Mokokchung BJP leaders to be conscious leaders and serve the people resiliently. 

He also praised the newly elected president of BJP Mokokchung district, Imolemba Jamir for his leadership in taking the party forward towards a higher position. He also lauded the Mokokchung BJP president for taking the initiative in renovating the office building and ensuring that the BJP party in Mokokchung district with full dedication. 

BJP Mokokchung district president, Imolemba Jamir gave the welcome speech and underscored the significance of all the morchas (different wings under the party) and at the same time urged the party president to give due importance to all the different organizational set up in the party. He further reposed deep hope on the dynamic leadership of the Nagaland state president, Imna Along .

Earlier, state BJP president was warmly welcomed in the presence of all the officials from the different mandals (assembly constituency). BJP Mokokchung district, vice president, Nukshi I Ozukum chaired the programme while vice president Watitemsu invoked God’s blessing.
