Incomplete school building: ESSU serves ultimatum on SSN

Eastern Sumi Students’ Union (ESSU) has served an ultimatum on the Samagra Shiksha Nagaland to resume incomplete and abandoned school building constructions in four villages namely government middle school (GMS) Viyilho, GMS Kelto, GMS Shevishe and GMS Ngozubomi under Sub-divisional Education Officer (SDEO) Aghunato on before August 20, 2020.

In the ultimatum addressed to the state mission director (SMD) SSN, the ESSU president Hokato V Yepthomi also demanded that the construction of the school buildings should be done strictly as per the work order specification.

Further, ESSU demanded that the “offenders” be penalised on or before August 20, 2020 and intimate its office in written regarding the action taken. Failure to take steps as demanded, the union cautioned that it would take its own course of action.
