Indian Medical Association workshop & CME in Zunheboto

The Indian Medical Association, Nagaland, in collaboration with Hezukhu Memorial District Hospital and Rochill Hospital, Zunheboto, organized a Live Laparoscopic Surgical and Gynaecological Workshop & Continuing Medical Education (CME) program from April 25 to 27, at Hezukhu Memorial District Hospital & Rochill Hospital, Zunheboto.  

A press release from District Media Officer, CMO, Zunheboto, Shekho Sophie, stated that Dr. Victo A Wotsa gave a presentation on TLH and techniques, and Dr. Tsielhoutuo Angami shared tips & tricks of Laparoscopic cholecystectomy. 
Dr. Tovika Yepthomi highlighted Regional anaesthesia in Laparoscopic procedures and Dr. Aoakum Kichu shared on the topic “Cervical Cancer: An update on screening, early detection and its management”. 
IMA, Nagaland president, Dr. Kezevituo Keditsu and CMO, Zunheboto, Dr. C. W Tungoe, delivered the welcome address, and Dr. Keditsu also took sessions on Lap myomectomy do’s & dont’s. 
Surgical specialist, DH, Dr. Shikato, on behalf of medical superintendent and staff of District Hospital extended heartfelt gratitude to the IMA team for rendering their invaluable service and for organizing Live Laparoscopic Surgical and Gynaecological & CME at Hezukhu Memorial District Hospital, Zunheboto and Rochill Hospital. 
The release stated that moderator for the CME were Dr. K. Akaho Sema and Dr. Tokugha Rochill. During the camp 37 Laparoscopic Surgeries were performed.
