Regional outreach bureau (ROB) under ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India, Kohima organised “integrated communication and outreach programme” on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat at St. Peter’s School, Kohima on March 3. 

A press release from PIB Kohima stated that, the event highlights the state of Madhya Pradesh, which has partnered with Nagaland under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Resource person Temsu, faculty St. Peter’s School highlighted the diverse cuisine, geography, festivals and important places of Madhya Pradesh. A painting competition on the theme “unity in diversity” was also held to mark the occasion where Mutulo Purowon bagged first prize, Limeka stood second while Kitemenla bagged the third prize. 

Meanwhile, a similar programme was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kohima on March 2. Various activities were conducted during the programme. Painting competition, essay writing competition in English and Hindi, the official language of Madhya Pradesh, quiz competition and presentation of folk songs of Madhya Pradesh were some of the activities of the programme.
