Inter Club Badminton tourney concludes

Dimapur District Badminton Association (DDBA) emerged as the overall champions at the 3rd Inter Club Badminton tournament that concluded Saturday at Kuda Youth Indoor stadium, Dimapur.

The three- day event was organised by Elite Club under the aegis of Dimapur District Badminton Association. All together 115 teams from nine clubs affiliated under DDBA took part in the tournament.

Speaking at the closing function, minister for PHED, Jacob Zhimomi said games and sports have the potential for livelihood and called upon the youngsters to pursue the profession with dedication. He said the state government is supporting upcoming players and urged them to be dedicated.

The winners were handed gift hampers sponsored by the proprietor of Vitaz  Enterprise.
