International Hornbill Naga Wrestling today

The 13th International Hornbill Naga Wrestling Championship 2019 under the aegis Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) will take place on December 4 at Amphitheatre, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.

Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board chairman Neiprezo Keditsu will grace the occasion as the special guest.
The champion of the meet will receive a cash prize of Rs. 1.20 lakh while the runner- up will pocket Rs. 80,000. The losing semi-finalists will get Rs. 30,000 each.
Altogether, 10 wrestlers each from Angami Sports Association (ASA), Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA), Zeliang Wrestling Association (ZWA) with other participants from Uzbekistan, Australia, Delhi and Manipur will vie for the title.
The ASA wrestlers are Kezhavizo Thevo, Mhiesilhousie Nagi, Rovilhoulie Pier, Vizhakietuo Suohu, Neithongulie Kuotsu, Seyiekhrietuo Yiese, Menuosetuo Yiese, Kekhrie Yhoshu, Khrietsonyii Whuorie, Seyiesalie Nakhro.
The wrestlers from CWA are Vetuzo Dawhuo, Mudotso Thira, Venuzo Dawhuo, Venuo Medeo, Wekhroto Mero, Chekhro Kapfo, Kuchohu Curha, Vekutho Soho, Suhrhovoyi Nienu, Vevohu Swuro.
The ZWA wrestlers are Penamhung, Lungemsing, Railong, Machi, Wilungkhangbo, Iculeung, Ireusape, Ilamdi, Haiswadi, Itingchi.
Other wrestlers include Dushyant Kumar (Delhi), Sanju Kumar (Delhi), Sudhir Kumar (Delhi), Ankit Singh (Delhi), Sanju Gautam (Delhi), Conor Murphy (Australia), Tsuknungakum Ao (Mokokchung).
Meanwhile, the registration is still open for tourists who wants to take part in the championship.
