Jam Station-3 inaugurated in Dmu
Former parliamentary secretary, S Chuba Longkumer inaugurating the jamming station-3, Saturday, at Naharbari Dimapur.

 Jam Station-3 (The Musicians Hub) was inaugurated on Saturday at Naharbari, opposite Hollotoli School, Dimapur by former parliamentary secretary, S Chuba Longkumer as special guest.

Mentioning Nagaland as a land of music and musician, gifted with talents, the special guest lamented that talents are short live for we lack guidance, nurturing, lack exposure and infrastructure. 

Longkumer asserted that the aspect of the station should be recreation and outlet to maintain stress and above all, a place where youngster can spend quality time away from harmful elements. 

“Recreation is important for healthy living” having said this, Longkumer encouraged that such place should be utilised and encouraged.

He also lauded the proprietor for their innovative establishment. Furthermore he hoped and wished that it will contribute well towards the society.

Delivering the introduction of the Jam Station -3, Sunep Lemtur shared the vision of the jamming station and the reason behind the need to have such place in Nagaland for the musicians. He lamented that despite of having Music Task Force for so many years in Nagaland, musicians still have to struggle with low revenue. 

In regard to the station, Lemtur hoped that the station will allow the bands and musician to jam at a minimal charge and will also provide small seminars to be organized for a day or two. He also informed that in the days to come, the station is also looking forward to organize a show that will be held every month under the name “Limited Edition” such as acoustic night where artistes and bands will be invited and will also follow interactive session with the gathering. 

The programme was also exhorted by Alobo Naga and Arenla Subong. The programme was chaired by former Miss Peren, Paukizonne Meriam and later benediction prayer was pronounced by NBCP pastor, Monelo Apon.
