JD(U) opposes infringement on religious sentiments

Janata Dal (United) Nagaland state unit has affirmed that it strongly opposes any political party or parties whose actions and practices infringes upon the religious sentiments of the people of Nagaland and perforates into the cultures and traditions of Naga society.

Janata Dal (United) Nagaland through its media cell said the will and welfare of the people were supreme and above any political ideology, and even above the the directives of the high command.

Janata Dal (United), which is a part of the NDA at the centre and PDA in Nagaland, said that its stand on the 3Cs – Crime, Corruption and Communalism – was un-compromisable whether or not the party was in a coalition.

Further, Janata Dal (United) affirmed that it would not under any circumstance(s) compromise on these 3Cs no matter what the cost may be.

The party also affirmed to stand against any authority, individual or party that harboured these 3Cs and said it would endeavour to keep Nagaland free of them. 

Janata Dal (United) has appealed to the people of Nagaland to stand in support when such an issue was raised by the party in future.
