Jalukie Students’ Union (JSU) and Jalukie Pumling Youth Organisation (JPYO) organised a peaceful poster campaign on March 29 against the appointment of Grade-IV staff at Veterinary and Animal Husbandry department Jalukie without appointing land owner candidates in-spite of several intimidations for consideration.

In a joint press release, JSU president, Imzui Hingleu and JPYO president, Rampaugum have strongly condemned the adamant attitude of the concerned department and cautioned that if the demand of the Jalukie people is not considered through cancelation of the presently appointed Grade IV staff and appointment the land owner candidate, the organisations shall not leave any stone unturned to protect their due rights.
