Kala Utsav national level online competition begins

 Kala Utsav national level online competition on vocal music classical was held Tuesday at Kohima. The competition was slated to be held from January 11 to 22. 

Ghokivi K Awomi of class 12 from GHSS Zunheboto participated in vocal music classical male category online (live) at Highland Dawn Media Studio near High School Junction.

There are 9 categories of competition for both female and male participants. Out of 18 participants, 12 participants will be performing in the studio at Highland Dawn Media near High School Junction Kohima for six days as per the schedule and the six participants of visual art 2D, 3D and indigenous toys and games venue will be held from January 15 to 16 at RGHSS multipurpose hall.

For Nagaland, the vocal music classical was held on January 12 while on January 14 instrumental music classical will be conducted, while music traditional/folk will also be held on January 16 at different venue. On January 18 instrumental music traditional/folk while be held while on January 20 and 22 dance classical and dance traditional/folk will be held respectively. 

Teacher mentor of the participant for vocal music classical, programme coordinator and deputy mission director Liyalo Apon, Samagra Shiksha and Medosale Whuorie and Paul, technical coordinator Nagaland for the national level Kala Utsav online competition were also present.
