According to DIPR, the 24 member of KAT, took this descison and came up with eco-friendly trash bags on witnessing litter being thrown out of a car by driver or passanger.

The members also stated that idea was to provide appropriate means of waste disposal to protect the environment.

The bags are made of washable cloth material and are designed in such a way that the storage space can hold empty water bottles and other litter.

One of the members pointed out that through this project the group also wanted to encourage the women folks of their village by creating awareness about environmental damages caused by litter. KAT is also trying to reach out to as many people as possible so as to make the people think carefully before tossing another item out the window or looking the other way when someone else does, and to consider the impact that they can make on the environment by disposing of waste properly.
