KBHSS Kohima organises cultural day-cum-literary week

Khedi Baptist Higher Secondary School (KBHSS) Kohima Village organised cultural day-cum-literary week on Tuesday under the theme “Venturing Visions” at the School Auditorium.
A press release by KBHSS stated that guest speaker, Nagaland University, associate professor (English department), Dr. Thejayano Sekhose, deliberated on the importance of culture and added that it was essential for the students to learn and know their roots. She also emphasised on the need to focus more on mother tongue and also encouraged the students to give their best in everything that they do.
The program was chaired by convenor of the cultural and literary committee, Teisovise Khruomo, invocation by Khedi Baptist Kehou, Associate Pastor Dr. Ruokuovilie Sachii and keynote address by Co-convenor of the cultural and literary committee, Anukho Resu.
Folk songs and folklore were presented by the students; traditional couple show of each tribe was showcased which was followed by various folk dances.
