KDTODU flays unauthorised collection by KTP

Kohima District Truck Owner’s and Drivers’ Union (KDTODU) has condemned the unauthorised collection of money by Kohima Traffic Police (KTP) at landslide area (Kezhanu), Jotsoma on July 16. 

In a press statement, the union president, KDTODU president, Rüvese Sokha and general secretary, Kvuethi Puro expressed gratitude to Jotsoma Youth Organisation (JYO) that these kinds of activities were recognised and caught at the right time. It further urged the concerned authorities or the department’s in-charge “to question and debate on whether these kinds of acts conducted are right”.
The union also thanked the Jotsoma Youth Organisation (JYO) for their firm action against the Kohima Traffic Police.  Meanwhile, the union affirmed to extend support to JYO in fight for justice.
