Kohima District VDB Union (KDVDBU) has extended solidarity towards the  DRDA’s genuine demand for justice from the state government.

A press release from KDVDBU general secretary, John Kath stated that, DRDA employees have not received salary for the last 11-12 months, which is not a joke. Stating that it was their hard earned salary, the KDVDBU said that they should be paid immediately as they conduct their duties most regularly. It further stated that, due to agitation of DRDA, the function of the VDBs have been badly affected, whereby it cautioned that if the problem is not solved at the earliest by the government, all the VDBs will be compelled to move for justice against government.
