Twenty XI FC Viswema edged New Market FC 1-0 at the ongoing Kohima Football League-2 on Friday. The tournament is being organized by Kohima Town Club.  

After a goalless first half, Twenty XI FC’s Metol Neikha scored the lone goal of the match in the 62nd minute.  Salu Kulim chance to net the equalizer was well defended by Viravoto Seleyi.

Vitsopi Kin could have doubled the score for Twenty XI FC but his attempt at the goal went just wide.            

Achamo Shitio was sent off from the field after receiving the second yellow card for a handball in the 88th minute. Vizhii Neikha of Twenty XI FC was also cautioned for unsporting behaviour.
