Kiphire DPDB meeting report

The Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on January 17 at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Kiphire under the chairmanship of DC Kiphire, Mohammad Ali Shihab. A DIPR report stated that the board reviewed the previous meeting minutes and discussed the opening of a new primary school at Thenentsuvong Village and restoration of the old bypass road to Kohima. The board asked the concerned department to submit a viability report of the latter in the next DPDB meeting. The vice chairman informed all Heads of Offices under Kiphire to be present in the January 18 meeting to discuss aspirational work programs where a Nodal Officer from the ministry of DONER, S.L. Meena, joint secretary, Government of India will be present. He also informed the department of Medical, Education, Agriculture, Banking SBI Branch Manager, PWD (R&B), Power, and PHED to prepare presentations for the meeting. New member, Jophet Rengma, ADC Seyochung, introduced himself to the board in the meeting.
