Kma College welcomes new principal

Kohima College Kohima (KCK) welcomed its new principal, Dr. Ralimongla on July 20 at the programme held at the College.  

In a press release mass media cell of KCK, stated that Dr. Ralimongla served in department of Geology, Kohima Science College (KSC) for over 30 years, and in addition to her teaching assignments, she was also a member of the research and consultation committee and college journal, and served as convener of the anti-sexual harassment and the event management, KSC.  

The new principal in her speech said that it was a significant day for her, as precisely 40 years back, she had joined KSC as a student, and after completion of her studies, taught in the same institution for over 30 years. 

She thanked the faculty, staff and students for their warm welcome and said that she was touched by the kind gesture. She further congratulated them and also the senior teachers and staff who had retired, for the efforts and sacrifices towards the college. 

She encouraged the teachers to put more effort in the field of research and thanked them for their assurance to cooperate and to support to make the college progress.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by HoD, department of History and president, KCTA, Keneilesa Neikha and welcome addresses by vice principal, Thinuokhrienuo and HoD, English, Moanungla Kevichusa. The benediction was offered by Asst. professor, dept. of Education, Dr. B. Khing.
