Kohima district dairy farmers hold its first meeting

The first Kohima dairy farmers meeting was held at Hotel Japfu, where progressive dairy farmers from 11 villages attended the meeting on September 5. A press release from Kohima District Dairy Farmers Association (KDDFA) stated that, after a thorough deliberation on the issues of dairy farming, the house resolved to form an association under the banner Kohima District Dairy Farmers Association. Aim of KDDFA is to provide opportunities for dissemination and exchange of knowledge and ideas from the members. The following office bearers were elected to oversee the smooth functioning of the association Penyüsielie Suokhrie as president, Meyiel Naleo as secretary and Kevingulie Solo as treasurer. The meeting was organised by the Jotsoma Dairy Farmers Union (JDFU).
