KOHIMA FOOTBALL LEAGUE Sechü Zubza, New Market register wins
The match between Vanguard FC (White) and New market FC on Tuesday.

 Sechü Zubza FC and New Market FC registered win at the ongoing Kohima Football League played at Kohima local ground on Tuesday.

In the first match, Sechü Zubza FC beat Ziekezou SC by 4-2. Defending champions Ziekezou SC took the lead in the 20th minute through Puniirii Nienu. But in next minute, Shiirhosiil Zhotso scored the equalizer for Sechü Zubza.

After the lemon break, Sechü Zubza FC scored three goals. The second for Sechü was scored by captain Kekhrieletuo Tsira in the 56th minute through a spot kick and the third and fourth goals was scored by Shiirhosiil Zhotso in the 81st minute and injury added time to become the first hat-trick scorer of KFL 2018.

For Ziekezou SC, the second goal was scored by Keneinguze Pienyii.   

Keneinguze Pienyii and Vilhoubeituo Yhome of Ziekezou SC were cautioned for unsporting behaviour while Khriekethozo Keretsii was sent off from the field. Kevisalie Sechii of Sechü Zubza FC was also shown a yellow card.

In the second match, New Market FC defeated Vanguard FC Tseminyu by 2-1. Vanguard FC Tseminyu captain Yhumshalo Kemp scored the first goal in 44th minute. 

After the breather, the much awaited equalizer for New Market FC came through the boot of Kethozhapu Meru in 71st minute. When it all looked like the match was headed for a draw, Neiphivilie Seyie shocked their opponents with a 90th minute goal.

Stephen Rutsa and Keduvikho Mekro of New Market FC, and Mathew Kezhose and Shamba Samson Konyak of Vanguard FC Tseminyu were shown yellow cards..
