Kohima Science College EU jubilee concludes

Two-day Evangelical Union of Kohima Science college (Automous) Jotsoma golden jubilee with the theme “Jubilation to His faithfulness” concluded on Sunday at auditorium Kohima Science College Jotsoma.  
Speaking on Sunday morning service, former general secretary Asia Pacific Baptist Federation Rev. Bonny Resu in his address said jubilee is the time of introspection, reflection and repentance to move forward in Christ. He advised the students’ community to face the various challenges of this modern world with Christ in their lives.
Encouraging the Christians to reach out to the unsaved people, Revered Resu said it was not enough just being born in a Christian family but one has to take up responsibility to witness Christ in their relationship and association with others. 
Programme was chaired by Er. Khoto Zetsuvi, Bible reading by Itoho Zhimo, invocation prayer said by Rev. Dr. Mechiehol Savi, greetings by Yanger Longkumer former KSCJ EU advisor, silent prayer for departed souls of former members, special songs presented by EU choir Japfü Christian College and EU choir Patkai Christian College Dimapur, jubilee souvenir   released by Prof. Tali Alinger. In the absence first president of EU KSCJ due to health reasons, the speech was read out, while vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Viu Meru.
During evening service also Rev. Bonny Resu shared the word of God. Programme was attended EU alumni members, students of Kohima Science College, UESI members, college faculty members, bureaucrats, technocrats, government officials and others who passed out from the college.    
It may be mentioned that Kohima science college Evangelical union was established on October 5, 1969 with M. Imie Ao as the first president, Thangsanga Paite as secretary and David Zamzamthang Paite as the prayer secretary.
