Kohima Smart City reaches  out to street vendors

Kohima Smart City (KSC) in an effort to reach all citizens to participate in the citizens’ perception has reached out to the street vendors conveying that every opinion was valuable and important. 

A press release from KSC Development Limited CEO, Kovi Meyase stated that, KSC in collaboration with the Green Team Kohima was reaching out to the street vendors as citizen’s opinions were important and integral towards holistic urban planning for any city.

Volunteers sat with the street vendors and helped them participate in the online survey by explaining the questions and options. It was reported that the street vendors participated and thanked the volunteers for approaching them.

KSC also intends to reach out to the senior citizens, daily wage laborers, construction workers and the population that are not IT savvy in the days ahead through the EOLI volunteers. 

The Ease of Living Index awareness posters are coming up in all the wards and commercial areas including the banks and post office for awareness creation on the survey.

Citizen perception survey has been assigned a weightage of 30% under EOLI and will go on till February 29.
