Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) has informed that students using city buses as means of transportation can avail 50% concessions fee while plying within Kohima Town.

In a press release, NASU president, Thepfurüya Theünuo, stated that the union held a meeting with City Bus Owners Union Kohima (CBOUK) on May 5, where the resolution on bus fare was reviewed.

The union informed that the meeting resolved to give 50% concessions to students in full uniform and plying within Kohima town. NASU has also reminded the students that it would be their responsibility to pay the bus fare by required amount (change).

NASU has also acknowledged the CBOUK for rendering kind gesture towards the student community.

Meanwhile, NASU also has warned all the students within its jurisdiction not to indulge in any immoral activities while wearing uniform. The union cautioned that it would strictly check and take strong action against students, in uniform, loitering around during class hours.
