KOKT sports meet concludes

Two-day sports meet of Kohima Onpangkong Kaketshir Telongjem (KOKT) came to an end at Kohima Science College Ground Jotsoma on October 8.

 The meet was held under the theme “Strengthening bonds.”

Earlier, on October 7, addressing the inaugural function as special guest, CEO, IDAN, Alemtemshi Jamir said that young people were becoming more conscious of their health.

“There is a mushrooming of gyms and the number of people jogging, walking and running to keep healthy is increasing,” he said.

Stressing on the need to have more healthy activities, he said that it can be possible through reason together and know the art of living together, work and play together.

Earlier, KOKT president Imlinokcha Longkumer delivered welcome address.

KOKT treasurer Bendangtoshi Longkumer also exhorted the gathering.

KOKT sports secretary Limasanen Longkumer administered oath to the participating teams. Football, Volleyball and basketball were conducted during the event.
