KPTA condemns attempted robbery at KPA

Khelhoshe Polytechnic Teachers’ Association (KPTA) has strongly condemned the attempted robbery in the academic building at Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) on June 24. 

A condemnation note by Khelhoshe Polytechnic Teachers’ Association president, Er. Ruokuobeilie Mere and general secretary, Er. Yibenthung Odyuo stated that, there is always a concern for safety and security even though the teaching community are trying their best to bring up the institute at par with the rest of the nation. While stating that such incident is not new to the institute, the KPTA expressed  concern for safety of their belongings which can only be known when the institute re-opens after the summer break/winter break. KPTA stated that such anti-social activities and incidents were not acceptable to any civilized society and disheartens the teaching community which ultimately affect the students. Hence, the KPTA requested all right thinking individuals or organization to come forward and condemn this uncivilized act and request the concern authority to nab the culprit at the earliest and gave befitting punishment according to the law of the land. 

ARSU condemns: Atoizu Range Students’ Union (ARSU) in a condemnation by its president, Aketovi Assumi stated that the union has taken serious note of the incident and has called upon law enforcing agency to book the culprits at the earliest. ARSU further assured solidarity and cooperation towards KPA authority in working together for the welfare of the students community.
