The Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan (KKA) distribution of soyabean minkits and rajma in aspirational district of Kiphire was held at District Agriculture Office (DAO) Kiphire on Tuesday. 
In a short speech deputy commissioner Kiphire, Mohammed Ali Shiheb said that Kiphire was one of the aspirational districts among the declaration by the government of India in order to make it a prosperous and economically sound district in Nagaland as well as in the country. 
DC encouraged the 25 villagers who had attended the programme, stating that village identity was the economic growth and the unique strength of the community. He also remarked that the district cultivation was mainly focused in rajma/kholar & maize. He assured the villagers that administration would carry out inspection along with Agriculture department and the best grower village would be awarded. 
Meanwhile Seyochung, Sitimi & Singrep villagers invited administration to inspect their field cultivations at anytime. DC Kiphire also encouraged the villagers to make their villages into model, green as well as the cleannest village. 
He further informed the villagers to be prepared to present progress of their cultivation through power-point as and when they were invited before the department officers. Both DC and joint director of Agriculture thanked Dr, K. Manoharam director, Directorate of Jute Development GOI, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Kolkata for coming to Kiphire aspirational district. 
They apprised him that under his guidance Kiphire would become a renewed district. Joint director of Agriculture Nagaland, K. Renphamo Kikon in his short speech said that, the Agriculture department was working for the benefit of the public to grow good crops and to maintain their economic growth. 
He also highlighted that the department constructed the seeds distribution centre, attached to the DAO office. Department would also construct another centre in another area shortly, he added. Further he encouraged them to use organic manure for crops.
The soyabean minikits seed was distributed by AFA, DAO office Kiphire C.T. Setsiba. SDO (Civil) Kiphire also spoke in the programme. Keynote address was given by Dr. K. Manoharan and vote of thanks by SDAO Kiphire, Phramasie. The programme was presided by DAO Kiphire R.Santsu Kithan.
