MD NHAK Dr. Thorhusie Katiry said the high tech ambulance was the need of the hour and appreciated the Kohima Smart City Development Limited (KSCDL). It may be mentioned that the KSCDL under citizens’ health provision of smart city scheme have procured two smart ambulances for the city and is under the procedural formalities to make it operational. However in view of the urgency of preparedness and requisite facilities shortage faced by the state government to fight against Covid-19 pandemic, the ambulance will be utilized under the direction of the MD NHAK till such time situation normalises.
