KSC students call on Governor

Five students from Kohima Science College (KSC) selected for in plant training in Chemical Engineering by Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co. Ltd, Mumbai called on Nagaland governor, PB Acharya at Raj Bhavan, Kohima on June 10. 

A press statement from PRO to Governor stated that the company had expressed interest in providing job training for youngsters from North East region in order to enable them to get suitably trained, develop their skill and become employable in the chemical industry. 
At the initiative of Acharya and INFC, an NGO from Mumbai, conducted a campus interview at Nagaland University, Lumami and Kohima Science College in October 2018. Five students from KSC and three from NU were shortlisted for training at the chemical industry.  The selected candidates will be paid a stipend and will be provided free accommodations and free canteen facility.
