Kuki Students’ Organisation Nagaland (KSON) concluded its five-day tour of Kuki villages covering 17 villages under Peren district from May 29 to June 2, with a goal to spread awareness and sensitise the public on the issue of COVID-19. According to DIPR report, KSON along with the villagers, youth and church leaders discussed strategies on how to run community quarantine centres instead of home quarantine as it was not practical for the villagers.

Discussions and emphasis were also made on self-sustenance by growing more food crops, keeping in mind the current scenario.

Further, the organisation thanked all those who had extended their support and believe that such collective efforts would continue to take place in dire times.
