Kuda-B khel observes 75th year of establishment

Kuda village, B-Khel observed its 75th year of establishment at Kuda-B khel on November 21, wherein a Thehu Ki constructed in commemoration of the occasion was also inaugurated and dedicated by Kuda Village Baptist Church pastor, Rev. Miazielie Sakhrie, on land donated by Nimedo Sakhrie and Rokokerhe Liegise.

A press release by Kuda B-khel chairman, Atuo Khate stated that, Rev. Miazielie Sakhrie also unveiled the construction plague and delivered the message, while Savi Liegise exhorted the gathering. Rev. Kenilevi Khate invoked blessings of God and released the 75th anniversary souvenir (Seweda) published in commemoration of the jubilee. Women organisation (Thenuko Krotho) felicitated the pioneers and leaders of the village.

It must be noted that, B-Khel was founded by Nimedo Sakhrie and Rokokerhe Liegise in 1945, both of whom hailed from Khonoma village. The celebration paid tributes to the pioneers, namely Ketholelhou Khate, Pfükrunyü Sakhrie, Ashuhe Khekho, Pfükrehe Khekho, Nisekho Liegise, Adani Khekho, Dokho Liegise, Zapukho Sakhrie, Lhuviniu Lungalang, Kurahing Tho-ü, Dr. Setu Liegise and host of others.

Earlier, function was chaired by chairman of Kuda B-khel, Atuo Khate, attended by chairman of Kuda Village Council, Achübo Meruno and his colleagues, head GB of Kuda village, Thepfüko Nagi and his colleagues, all Khel chairmen and Kuda Youth Club president and women leaders.

The anniversary was celebrated with adherence to SOPs and with limited attendance of only 100 members.
