KVC advisory on adhering to guidelines

Endorsing the decision taken by the Kohima village Covid Committee (KVCC), the Kohima village Council (KVC) Friday stated that any individual or institution found disregarding or not strictly adhering to its guidelines would be “penalized with severest action.”

In a notice, KVC secretary Zeneizo Rutsa advised all stranded persons (resident of Kohima village and town) to compulsorily comply with the government directives  and submit oneself to fulfil the registration quarantine and surveillance. KVC stated that complete individual details of all inbound travelers into Kohima (main) should be sent to the colony/village authority.

It stated that all stranded returnees of Kohima village would compulsorily stay for another 14 days at Observation home set up by Kohima village at Perinuothou. KVC informed all stranded persons of Kohima village to report to KVCC control room on or before arrival at the government quarantine centre.

Further, KVC notified all business set ups to strictly comply with the government guidelines and orders. It also urged all residents of Kohima to strictly adhere to government guidelines.

KVC has affirmed that nobody would be allowed to entertain any returnees as guest.

It also underscored that no person under quarantine period should be allowed to move out of homes under any circumstances. In case of any other ailments that needed medical attention, KVC said one should report to the concerned authority for help.

Meanwhile, the KVC has strongly warned against the spread of false news in any form, saying such act would not be tolerated.
