Külolau Yemishe Ghami Küqhakulu (KYGK) through a memorandum to Commission of Police has demanded that the absconding accused involved in August 16 killing be arrested at the earliest.

In the memorandum, KYGK president, Vihoshe Awomi and general secretary, Ayeho Ayemi stated that one of its member, Toishe Yeptho, was shot dead in front of his wife, children, mother and family members on August 16 by miscreants, where they (miscreants) also attempted to kill the deceased’s wife.
Külolau Yemishe Ghami Küqhakulu  therefore demanded that the accused if arrested should not be granted bail under any circumstances but should be awarded befitting punishment in accordance with the law of the land. It further warned that Külolau Yemishe Ghami Küqhakulu  will not be held responsible for any untoward incident in the event of the accused released on bail.
KYGK further said that since the culprits belonged to the NSCN (R) faction and to enable the law enforcing agency to take legal course of action, the NSCN (R) has terminated two of its members- Khekato Kinimi, defence kilonser-cum-UTI supervisor and Chungshi Longkumer, deputy kilonser, after they were found to be involved in the killing. In this regard, the Külolau Yemishe Ghami Küqhakulu  has appealed to the higher authority to take up the matter seriously.
