Lower Agri Youth Organization (LAYO) observed its 22nd foundation day at its Council Hall, Kohima on Friday.
Associate pastor, KABA Temjen Sempo, who spoke on the occasion, lamented on the division among the Nagas and said “we are living in an age where we are thinking only about ourselves”.
He said society has become complex, where youths were living in a confused order without any proper direction.
In this regard, he called upon the youths to be the change with a broader mentality and seek God first to lead them the way.
He also expressed concern where most of the business was controlled and run by the outsiders, to which he suggested bringing in new policies so that unemployed youths in the state can be employed.
Former LAYO president and advocate, Johny Rengma also spoke on the occasion. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Surhuveyi Tetseo, advisor, LAYO, special number by Livika Assumi and vote of thanks by LAYO president Abel Assumi.
