LCD, Blue Vanda, REN organise eye camps

Lions Club of Dimapur (LCD) Blue Vanda organised free eye screening camp for children at Vidya Bhawan School and St. Marys School of Dimapur on September 14. 

A press release from Blue Vanda  secretary and PRO Neeta Agarwal stated that 402 children were screened during the camp. Jaya Agarwal was the chairperson and Seema Bhowal was the co-chairperson of the project. 

The project was carried out under the presidentship of Saraswati Sharma. VDG l of Lions Clubs International 322 D, Lalita Khadaria and Neena Dutta principl of St Marys School in their speech said that the children who were found with eye defect will be cured free of cost at Lions Center on September 21 and 22. 

Meanwhile, Regalia Entertainment Nagaland (REN), under “Project hope”, organised free eye treatment camp for senior citizens, in collaboration with Advanced Vision Therapy Clinic (AVTC), and Tribal Old Age Home-cum-Day Care Centre Indisen, Dimapur, partnered by North East Window magazine and Nagaland Institute of Photography, on September 6. 

A press release from REN, stated that medicine were provided by AVTC and REN providing eye glasses. Project Hope was entirely funded by REN and the only touring charity project in North East.
