Leiying Konyak crowned Miss KSUK

 Konyak Students Union Kohima (KSUK) observed its 36th fresher’s meet and conducted Miss KSUK Saturday at Ura Academy Hall, Kohima under the theme "Invigorating Young Minds". 

In the absentia of minister higher and technical education, Temjen Imna Along, who was supposed to be the chief guest, the politics assistant of the minister, Lamsong Khiam conveyed regret for not being able to be a part of the event. He however conveyed his commitment to stand by the Konyak community with utmost sincerity. 

At the programme, Manlem Konyak also spoke on behalf of MLA C. L John while NBCC finance secretary Rev. Yamyap pronounced the dedicatory prayer for the freshers. 

The event witnessed special appearance of David Konyak and SYMs Brothers while the afternoon session was followed by crowning of Miss KSUK wherein Leiying Konyak was crowned Miss KSUK 2019 while Neilem Jessica and Esang Monyu were the first runner up and second runner up respectively. 

Miss KSUK will be representing the KSUK in the upcoming Miss Mon beauty pageant 2019.
