LHD general meeting-cum-induction programme

Lotha Hoho Dimapur (LHD) held its general meeting-cum-induction of new office bearers for the year 2020- 2022 at Lotha Hoho Ki on January 11. 

A press release from deputy CM media cell stated that, in his short speech, the deputy CM urged upon all the civil societies to play a pro-active role to bring the IM and the seven NNPGs under one negotiating table, because the GOI will give only one solution for the protracted Naga issue. 

On developmental activities in the state, Patton lamented that, most of the government developmental projects were stalled by landownership issues, to which he appealed to the people and its leaders to cooperate with the government to avail the facilities of government funded projects. 

Further, Patton expressed his willingness to host Lotha Tokhu Emong at Dimapur in the future and also assured to donate one brand new vehicle to LHD, while encouraging them to work with sincerity and dedication for the betterment of the society.

Earlier, outgoing chairman Etsungmomo Kikon gave the welcome speech. A new team of office bearers led by Y. L Jami (Retd IAS), among others were inducted to lead LHD for the tenure 2020- 2022 , and  God’s blessings for the new team was invoked by Rev. Zanao Mozhui senior pastor LBCD.
