The special guest of the event, advisor Treasuries & Accounts, National Highways, Dr. Longrineken said that unlike the yesteryears, where our parents and elders had only one dimensional career path, today, our generation has multi dimensional path to choose our career from. He goes on to add that God has showered mankind with an array of talents and skills and added that the youngster of their tribe too are blessed with a multitude of talents which we can hone it and use it to their benefit.

The advisor asserted that one can choose his or her profession based on any of the God’s gifts; be it beauty, physical strength, beautiful voice, ability to dance and act, etc. apart from the innate talents, “what we require to excel is determination, persistence, perseverance and hard work”, he added. He said today, though much has been talked about and done for women empowerment in the country; it is heartening to see that not much disparity between the two genders existed in the state. He hoped that organizing programmes and competition like Miss Ao would further push the campaign for women empowerment.

Longrineken urged the participants to take the event as a special opportunity, for not everyone gets the chance to share the stage with them. “Winning and losing is part and parcel of every competition, no matter whether you win or lose, your experience will certainly lift you to an altogether new level. Take it as your trajectory to success in life”.

The contestants were judged basing on three rounds that included traditional round, causal round and evening wear. Other subtitle winners were; Sentongtenla - Miss Personality, Longsena - Miss Congeniality, and Alemchula - organizers’ choice.
