Literary day at GHS Diphupar, SJHSRS

Government High School (GHS) Diphupar ‘B’ and St. John Higher Secondary Residential School (SJHSRS) organised “Literary Day” at their respective schools on August 17.

GHS Diphupar: English/Literary club of GHS Diphupar ‘B’ organised a special combined club programme on the theme “Igniting the young minds beyond classroom”. 

A press release by the school stated that assistant headmaster GHS Diphupar ‘B’, Takukumba Ao exhorted the students on the all round development. 

The release stated that the students participated in different activities like cultural speech by the cultural club, the news fortnight by the social science club, use of traffic lights by Hindi club, special number by class 10 students, an experiment in science by science club, extempore speech competition by the Literary club. The activities were followed by exhibition and sales of crafts by the Arts/Craft club.

SJHSRS: St. John Higher Secondary Residential School (SJHSRS) held its annual literary day at the school auditorium wherein students took part in various categories of singing, art, quiz and extempore speech.

A press release by the school stated that the performance by students marked the commencement of the literary day competition followed by art and extempore speech competition and quiz competition.

The day commenced with a prayer by Amento, class 10 warden and concluded with the solo competition of both the juniors and seniors and benediction by girls’ warden, Elizabeth.
