Almost a month after a 13-yr-old girl went missing from her village of Aruak Songgital under Bajengdoba PS, Police remains clueless about her whereabouts and the ‘worried’ parents have now sought the assistance of everyone to help in locating their daughter.

The minor girl went missing since March 17 this year. She has been identified as Miksrea Ch Sangma and was last seen by some villagers going out with another person from the same village after an argument with her mother over her school. The girl is a student of Class VI at Mendal.

“After the argument, she suddenly moved away from home, we suspect with another person from our village. Initially we did not complain hoping she would be back but we got worried and conducted a wide search around the village when she did not return. Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to locate her,” said a desperate father, Gratian Momin.

The parents then filed a missing report on the incident on Mar 23 at Bajengdoba PS in North Garo Hills (NGH) though there has still not been any breakthrough in locating her till the filing of this report.

“We would like to appeal to all to keep a lookout for her and help us get our daughter back,” said the father.
