Maintain the Wokha-Bokajan-Dimapur NH

The writer on behalf of public and on his own behalf would like to express that Border Roads Organization (BRO) constructed National Highway road from Wokha, Ralan sub-division to Bokajan- Dimapur 54 Kms black topping road. But hopeless government of Nagaland “kicked out” the BRO and took over but totally neglected it, no maintenance at all. Now there is no question of vehicle plying on this road. Whom to blame? Blame the government. Secondly elected legislators Wokha district, because they are sleeping and not thinking of developmental works.

This NH is meant for the benefit of people of Mon, Tuensang, Mokokchung because as and when Assam is on bandh, people of Mon, Tuensang, Mokokchung can go to Dimapur via Wokha, Ralan sub-division-Bokajan to Dimapur 54 kms only. Instead of going to Dimapur via Kohima 154 kms.

Although this road passes through Lotha soil, the road does not belong to Lotha community. The road belongs to humankind and tribalistic feelings must be avoided.

If the government of Nagaland and concerned PWD (Roads & Bridges) department seriously think and take up the issue successfully, it would be like killing two birds with one stone. Whole humankind will praise government of Nagaland.

Due to neglect, the road has become a footpath with no other purpose. Government has failed in everything due to corruption. The corruption in Nagaland is like “parrot learning”. Is it not so?
