A press release from MC stated that the special guest of the event, Dr. Atha Vizol, state commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) termed the event as “the very first of its kind,” specially organised for the differently abled. He encouraged and challenged the parents to let them participate in social events, functions and to help them bring out their best potential. Dr. Vizol also sought better coordination and support from the society, NGOs, churches, and in particular, the parents of the differently abled.

The principal of Tabitha Enabling Academy, Vekutilu Vese gave a brief account of the academy and its students, followed by touching performances from students of Tabitha Enabling Academy.

The program was chaired by Senti Kath, president of Metanoia Club and in his short speech he stated that the main objective of the event was to create awareness and to spread love and acceptance towards the differently abled. The invocation was pronounced by Bideno A. Kikon, Christian Education Secretary, NBCC. Senilo Kath, a core member of Metanoia Club expressed sincere gratitude to all the artistes, guests, parents, well wishers and all those responsible for making the event a successful one.

The program was followed with performances by Alobo Naga & the Band, RBCK Choir, Vime Metha, Virie and many other talented artists to close the event.
