MCDSR training in Longleng

A district-level sensitization training program on facility based and community based Maternal Child Death Surveillance Review (MCDSR) was conducted at CMO conference hall, Longleng on March 30. 

A press release from CMO office Longleng, district media officer, Roseline stated that Dr Toshirenla, MS and CMO in-charge, in her keynote address, welcomed all the PHC and district hospital doctors. She encouraged them to practice whatever they learned in the training, in their respective health units. She also appealed to the MOs to mobilize and guide frontline workers and encouraged them to send death reports as well. The trainers for the Training of Trainers (TOTs) were Dr. Wannau, junior specialist district hospital and Dr. Imnameren Phom, DPO (RCH/UIP). Slide-show presentation were also shown in the training. A vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Imnameren Phom, DPO (RCH/UIP).
