Medical camp conducted at BMSCH Kohima

The 7th Bright Morning Star Children Home (BMSCH), Kohima annual medical camp was organized on Saturday. 

A press release from the BMSCH stated that the medical camp was conducted under the initiative of the IDEAL Charitable Society with an objective to provide free medical advice, promote health education and create awareness in the community about different health issues.

It was also aimed at reaching out to different individuals such as elderly people and children from the community who are underprivileged and cannot afford their basic medical needs.

Dr. Neiphrezo Soriinuo, junior dental surgeon and Neivizo, staff Nurse were the speakers of the medical camp. 

Dr. Soriinuo spoke on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and later examined the children and also gave them free medicine. 

Neivizo gave a message on symptoms and preventive measures against Diarrhoea. Aleno, superintendent, BMSCH presented a brief report on the annual medical camp and a vote of thanks was proposed by IDEAL Charitable Society founding director Abi Angami.
