Medical workshop and CME inaugurated in Impur

A Laparoscopic Surgical and Gynaecological Workshop-&-CME was inaugurated with a dedicatory prayer by Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger, executive secretary, ABAM at Impur Christian Hospital on August 23.

A press release from Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) media cell stated that the two day Camp is organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Nagaland Branch in collaboration with ABAM.

This is a free operation medical camp organized to dispense free medical facilities to those who are suffering from different illness and cannot afford proper medical care.

Altogether, 14 cases have been admitted in the two-day Camp (August 23-24) for operation.

Seven specialized doctors headed by Dr. Kezivitou, gynaecologist of Putunu Nursing Home, Kohima along with a host of nurses and technicians from Kohima and Dimapur will be carrying out the camp with the latest equipments, not available in many hospitals in Nagaland.

ABAM expressed its appreciation for the doctors and their associates for making the Camp a reality. It further conveyed prayers for the Almighty God to bless each individual who selflessly contributed their resources in making the camp a great resort for many. 

ABAM further prayed for all the patients to get whole from their sickness and be a witness to the people. “We look forward towards more achievements in future” it said.
